All-inorganic perovskite CsPbBr3 nanocrystals exhibit exceptional optoelectronic properties; however, their highly dynamic, ionic crystallization characteristics have long confined morphology and dimensionality control to empirical trial-and-error. This study introduces a kinetics-driven ligand-assisted reprecipitation (LARP) strategy that integrates Hansen Solubility Parameters (HSP) with acetonitrile (ACN)-modified antisolvents. By quantitatively modulating the binding affinity of surface ligands, we successfully achieve precise dimensionality engineering, spanning from one-dimensional (1D) nanowires and two-dimensional (2D) nanoplatelets to three-dimensional (3D) nanocubes. Furthermore, leveraging the inherently dynamic lattice of perovskites, we fabricated these nanocrystals into sensing thin films for the detection of chlorinated volatile toxic compounds, such as HCl and NaOCl. The gas-solid anion exchange triggers a crystalline structural phase transition and a profound photoluminescence blue shift, enabling highly sensitive optical detection with a limit of detection down to 0.005 ppm. This work not only establishes a rational framework for governing crystal growth kinetics but also delivers an innovative materials platform grounded in structural dynamics for advanced optical sensing applications.
